Wow!! What a glamorous and inspiring night we shared! Thank you so much for attending the Aurora Ball 2023 and supporting the important work of funding LGBTIQ+ organisations!

As well as connecting with you all, some of the highlights for us were the glitz and glamour of Sydney Town Hall, the moving speech by one of our Founders, 78er Robyn Laverack, and of course raising $250,000 for our community!

Through the generous support of the Snow Foundation and our incredible Aurora Ball attendees we raised over $70,000 for Amplify Pride Fund alone!

Last year Amplify Pride funded five game-changing organisations, and we could have funded eleven, if we had the funds.

As Aurora and GiveOUT kick off the second year of the Amplify Pride Fund, we would love to reach our goal of $150,000. If you missed your chance to make a pledge on the night, or you’d still like to give, it's not too late to help us reach this landmark goal!

We know from our ‘Where are the Rainbow Resources Report, (co-authored with GiveOUT), that registered LGBTIQ+ organisations see just 5 cents out of every $100 received by Australian charities. We need to shift the needle on this 5 cents.

To quote Jax Brown, from one of our Amplify Pride and Ignite Pride grant partners - The Amplify Pride funding is such incredibly important funding for us - it will enable the recruitment of Inclusive Rainbow Voices’ (IRV) inaugural CEO to lead the organisation and advocate for the rights and issues of LGBTQIA+ people with disabilities.
