Aurora Ball Sells Out In Under Two Weeks

The Aurora Ball is already sold out after an extraordinary response from long-term supporters and new attendees.

After launching the ‘Menagerie’ theme a fortnight ago, we have already had to establish a waiting list for both individual and group bookings.

“The Aurora Ball usually sells out, but the response this year has been incredible,” said Aurora Chairperson Alison King. “We’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm of this year’s attendees, both in raising money for our community and bringing our Menagerie theme to life.”

The Aurora Ball returns to Sydney Town Hall on Saturday 18 June and will invite guests to uncage their fabulous inner animal.

Funds raised on the night go to support organisations like Aurora’s main grant recipient, Twenty10 incorporating the Gay and Lesbian Counselling Service. In the past year Aurora also disbursed $30 000 to six other community organisations like the Inner City Legal Centre through their Small Grants Program.

The Aurora Ball will feature a full line up of entertainment which will be revealed over the coming weeks, with three courses of food provided by The Caterer, Sydney.
